BERNINA Integrated Stitch Regulator (BISR) Attach the included 5.5 mm BISR Stitch Plate with Sensor and your chosen quilting foot for perfectly even stitch lengths at variable speeds. Stitch regulation now works across all quilting applications, including Ruler Work.

Jumbo Stitch Resize any decorative stitch or monogram from 25 percent up to 500 percent for striking, bold effects that really stand out.

Automatic Stitch Plate Recognition Three sensor enabled stitch plates are included and recognised instantly the moment they click into place. No interruptions, no guesswork.

2, 3 and 4 Point Placement with Morphing Position your embroidery or quilting designs with real precision. Define points on the fabric and the design is placed proportionally, or morphed to fit the boundary you create.

Computerised Quilting with Crop and Connect Bring longarm style functionality to your embroidery machine. Crop designs along a freely adjustable line, connect multiple designs into one cohesive pattern, and save your own work as BQM files with unlimited scaling.

7 inch Touch Screen with Help Center A large, central colour touch screen that responds to drag, drop and swipe gestures. Plug in a mouse for even more precision. The built in Help Center gives you tutorials, the manual and the Creative Consultant, and can mirror to your tablet or phone over WiFi.

Sewing and Quilting

The 790 ULTRA sews at up to 1,000 stitches per minute with a maximum stitch width of 9 mm and 11 adjustable needle positions. The BERNINA Hook delivers the legendary BERNINA stitch quality, and the front loading Jumbo Bobbin holds up to 70 percent more thread than a standard bobbin, so you spend more time creating and less time rewinding.

For decorative work, the Stitch Designer lets you draw and refine your own stitches right on the screen. Paired with Sideways Motion, the machine stitches in multiple directions for a whole new level of creative freedom. There are 171 sideways motion stitches on board.

BERNINA Dual Feed tames hard to manage fabrics with even feeding and clear visibility, then tucks out of the way when you do not need it. The BERNINA Pinpoint Laser shows you exactly where the needle will enter the fabric in every needle position.

Embroidery

The enhanced Embroidery Module L with Smart Drive Technology is included, bringing faster performance and exceptional stitch quality with BERNINA stitchprecision2 Technology. The freearm lets you embroider tubular projects such as t shirts and onesies without any extra tools.

You get a large embroidery area of 15.7 inches by 8.3 inches, 610 built in embroidery designs and 25 embroidery alphabets. On screen editing is intuitive, with Shape Designer, Endless Embroidery, WordArt, multi line lettering and full control over scaling, rotating and mirroring.

WiFi connectivity transfers designs to and from BERNINA Embroidery Software 9, and the BERNINA Stitchout App lets you monitor your embroidery progress and thread colours from your smartphone, with notifications when your attention is needed.
