Description
The BERNINA 770 QE PRO is a quilter’s machine through and through, and one of the machines we most enjoy demonstrating. If you quilt regularly and you are ready for the machine to stop being the limiting factor, this is the one to come and try.
QE stands for Quilter’s Edition, and it is not a badge. The stitch regulator is included, the dual feed is built into the machine rather than added on, and there are 10 inches of space to the right of the needle to move a quilt through.
Headline Features
BERNINA Stitch Regulator included
The BSR and its foot #47 come with the machine. It keeps your free motion stitch length even however fast or slowly you move the quilt, which is the single hardest thing to do by hand.
10 inches to the right of the needle
Room to move a full sized quilt rather than wrestle it, which is the difference between an enjoyable afternoon and a frustrating one.
1,858 stitch patterns
38 utility stitches, 18 buttonholes, 550 decorative stitches, 76 quilting stitches and nine alphabets, with a 9mm maximum stitch width and 6mm maximum length.
BERNINA Dual Feed
Built into the machine rather than clipped on as a walking foot. Engage it when you need it and the top layer feeds with the bottom.
Oversized bobbin
Holds up to 70 percent more thread than a standard bobbin, which on a quilt is a genuinely useful amount of time saved.
Patchwork Foot #97D included
The quarter inch foot quilters reach for constantly, in the box rather than on the accessories list.
30 LED sewing lights
The needle area is properly lit, which you notice most on dark fabric and late in the evening.
7 inch colour touch screen
Centrally located, and large enough to work from comfortably.
In the box
BSR Foot #47, Reverse Pattern Feet #1C and #1D, Buttonhole Foot #3A, Zipper Foot #4D, Open Embroidery Foot #20C and Patchwork Foot #97D, plus the free arm table, knee lifter, soft cover, five bobbins, needles, seam guides and tools.
A machine at this level deserves an hour of your time before you decide. Ring us and we will set one up for you, and you are welcome to bring your own fabric.
