Steve Broomhall
Owner
Steve is a highly experienced sewing machine engineer. After studying Clothing Machine Technology at the London College of Fashion in the 1980s, Steve completed an apprenticeship with a clothing manufacturer and went on to work with leading Pfaff and Bernina dealerships. He also gained valuable industry experience at VSM, the parent company of Husqvarna and Pfaff. When he’s not at work, Steve can often be found in his garage, happily working on his beloved classic car or riding his classic motorbike.
Harvey Broomhall
Engineer
Harvey is Steve’s son and started learning the trade in his early teens. Following on from college Harvey joined the company in 2022 as a trainee engineer and has since qualified as a certified engineer. He also serves as a machine specialist and demonstrator, frequently supporting the team at exhibitions and representing the company on our stand. Outside of work, Harvey enjoys going to the gym, loves all things cars.
Rita Pease
Demonstrator
Rita has been working with Steve for nearly 20 years as the General Shop Manager and was a valued member of the company for 15 years before Steve took ownership. Her journey in the sewing industry began with sewing alterations, and her longstanding interest in dressmaking and quilting has helped her become an accomplished machine specialist. When not at work Rita loves sewing on her beloved Bernina sewing machines, knitting and crocheting.
Chris
Van Driver
Chris drives our van every week collecting and delivering sewing machines from our network of Service Agents for servicing. Outside of work Chris enjoys riding his motorbike and driving around in his classic car.
