Most places selling machines online have never actually threaded one. They list the specs, take your money and post you a box.
We use these machines. We demonstrate them, we service them, and we know how they behave once they are on your table at home. So tell us what you like to sew and we will point you at the ones that will suit you, and gently steer you away from the ones that will not.
We would rather sell you the right machine at £400 than the wrong one at £900.

Come in, sit down and sew on anything in the showroom. No appointment, no pressure, no obligation. Bring your own fabric. Bring the project that has been giving you grief.
Fifty machines on a website all look the same. Fifty machines in front of you do not.
A free one to one lesson with every new machine
Threading, tension, the stitches you will actually use, and the buttons that look frightening and turn out not to be.
It is the difference between a machine that gets used every week and a machine that stays in its case because the first attempt went badly. We would much rather it was the former.
Our own workshop, not a courier and a wait
Machines need servicing and sometimes things go wrong. This is where buying from an actual shop earns its keep.
We service sewing machines, overlockers and embroidery machines of any make, whether you bought it from us or not. Bring yours in, we will book it in and give you a time estimate, and we will only ring you if something extra comes up.
Too far to travel? We have service agents across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire who can take your machine in for us.

Warranty we handle for you
Approved warranty agent for Bernina, Bernette, Brother, Janome, Pfaff, Husqvarna, Juki and Babylock. You bring the machine to us, we deal with the manufacturer.
Part exchange
Sewing tends to escalate. When you are ready for more machine than you have got, bring the old one in and we will tell you what it is worth.
Delivery and finance
Free delivery to mainland UK addresses, and finance options if you would rather spread the cost.
Come and have a go
The kettle is on, the machines are threaded, and nobody is going to follow you round the shop.
