This is a machine you grow with rather than grow out of. The 10 inches of space to the right of the needle is the thing most people notice first, and the thing they stop noticing once they are used to it, which is exactly how good design should work.

32 utility stitches, 13 buttonholes, 400 decorative stitches, 37 quilting stitches and six alphabets, with a 5.5mm maximum stitch width and 6mm maximum length.
10 inches to the right of the needle
A generous working space for a machine of this footprint, and enough room to handle a coat, a curtain or a decent sized quilt without the fabric fighting you.
1,000 stitches a minute
Quick, and steady with it, which is what you want on a long garment seam.
7 inch colour touch screen
Centrally placed and large enough to actually read, with settings laid out plainly rather than buried under menus.
Walking Foot #50 included
In the box rather than on the accessories list. It feeds the top layer at the same rate as the bottom, which is what keeps layers and slippery fabrics where you put them.
