Janome Atelier 3 Sewing Machine
The Atelier 3 is the entry point to Janome’s much loved Atelier series, and the new model builds on the Anniversary Edition with a fresh colour screen and more stitches. It is designed for every kind of sewing, from dressmaking and home furnishings to patchwork and quilting, and it gives you a generous workspace for bigger projects without being complicated to use.
There is 210mm of space to the right of the needle and 120mm of height, so quilts, curtains and bulky garments have room to move. The new colour LCD screen makes stitch settings clear and easy to read, and flipping open the top cover shows you the full range of 150 stitches, including seven styles of automatic one step buttonhole and an alphabet for adding names and labels. You can memorise stitch and alphabet combinations too.
The everyday conveniences are all here. Thread the needle with the built in threader, trim threads at the touch of the automatic thread cutter button, and pivot neatly around corners with the programmable needle up/down. The start/stop button and maximum speed controller let you sew without the foot pedal at a pace that suits you, and the easy set top loading bobbin has its own cutter on the bobbin winder. Stitches are up to 7mm wide, and it sews smoothly at up to 860 stitches per minute.
There is a knee lifter port as well, so you can add the optional knee lifter later if you want your hands free to guide the fabric.
Every new machine comes with a free lesson with us, so you leave knowing exactly how to use it. We are always at the end of the phone if you need a hand later on.
