Features

The Horn Hobby Tall chair is fully adjustable for

Back height
Back angle
Seat height
Seat angle

The back angles in and out, up and down and the seat tilts forward and backwards. The seat height can be adjusted up or down for the most comfortable seating position and now to an extra height with an added foot rest.

This will allow you all the endorsed comfort and support of the original Horn Hobby chair but gives a sitting position with a far greater maximum height of 68cm off the ground! (The normal chair being 52cm). This is ideal for sitting at higher surfaces such as our HI-LO, Sewers Vision, Maxi Hobby table, Cut easy Mk2 and now our new Tri-Star utility table or maybe your own kitchen surface, in fact anywhere in your home that has a need for a higher sitting position. PLEASE NOTE: This chair isn’t specifically for tall people. We have put a lot of effort into trying to develop it so that you are able to sit at either a sewing cabinet height of (approx.29-30ins) or sit at a standing height surface of (approx. 35-36 ins) but we realise that people are all different so these heights aren’t perfect for everyone and might not work for you. If sitting at both of these types of unit is a definite stipulation of your purchase then it’d be best to try to sit on one first, to try it out, before purchasing it.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Called in today having bought a 2nd hand Janome machine on ebay for an elderly relative. It was described as pretty much unused and had been sitting in a cupboard for 20 years, and it matched the description on arrival. I just wanted it checked over before giving it to its new owner, expecting to leave it for a week or so.
Instead the manager of this shop asked to have a look at it, spent maybe 10 minutes looking it over and giving it a trial run stitching and confirmed its condition. We chose some cotton to go with the machine which was all we were charged for.
He could not have been more helpful, obliging, personable & informative and the place itself has a quiet air of professionalism and expertise. Many thanks; recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couldn’t be more helpful, I have rung and visited the shop and have been met with such helpful accommodating people each time. Couldn’t recommend them enough. I was taught how to thread and sort my machine out after I was struggling with it even when I hadn’t purchased from them directly. Cannot fault these people
