Overlocking without the setup headaches
If threading an overlocker has ever put you off using one, the Serenity was made for you. Babylock’s RevolutionAir threading system threads the loopers and the needles for you: position the thread, press the button, and you’re ready to sew. Choose your stitch and the Automatic Thread Delivery system works out the tensions, so there’s no dial twiddling or test scraps before every project.
Needle changes made simple
The exclusive Snap On Needle System means needles simply click into place, no tools needed. It’s the end of fumbling with tiny screws and wondering whether the needle has gone in properly, and it makes it far easier to keep a fresh needle in for neat, even stitches.
Control when you need it, speed when you want it
The Serenity runs at up to 1,500 stitches per minute, and Digital Speed Control lets you dial that back at the touch of a button, with LED lights showing your setting at a glance. A needle up/down button gives you precise control for pivoting around corners or placing a single stitch exactly where you want it.
Room to get creative
Alongside everyday four thread overlocking, the Serenity sews 3 thread rolled hems, 2 and 3 thread flatlock, and Babylock’s own Wave Stitch and Flatlock Wave for decorative edges. The patented Compact Overlock Table lets you use specialty attachments such as the Fabric Guide and 36mm Double Fold Bias Binder with a range of overlock stitches, and the Drop Feed System opens up even more techniques.
Thoughtful extras
A knee lift keeps both hands on your fabric, the Deluxe Trim Bin catches offcuts as you sew, and differential feed keeps stretchy knits and delicate fabrics feeding evenly without puckering or waving.
