The NEW and ingenious, fully automated jet-air threading system makes threading the loopers fun. Just insert the thread into the desired looper port, push the button and hey presto, the looper is threaded completely and automatically. You can also thread all three loopers at once if you like. And it goes without saying that you can define the threading order yourself.

The handy needle threader does a good job when it comes to threading the needles. Thanks to the enlighten’s automatic thread delivery (ATD) system and the stitch selector, you no longer have to worry about thread tension adjustment. Perfectly balanced stitches with threads of different qualities on a wide range of materials, from fine through to heavy fabrics, are no longer a matter of good luck. baby lock has come up with a remarkable system to help you stitch curved seams. The extremely small gap between the cutter and needle is a prerequisite to produce perfect curves.

Your new Baby lock offers a whole range of other fantastic adjustment possibilities. You can change the actual stitch width and not just the cutting width, for example, because the chaining finger and the cutter move together in the same direction. This avoids overcutting and undercutting and you don’t have to continually readjust the thread tension. Did unwanted puckering or wavy seams in knitwear and fine fabrics used to cause you trouble and strife? If so, the Baby lock Enlighten’s adjustable differential feed (0.6 – 2.0:1) is the solution. Unique Loopers

The baby lock enlighten features a unique, compact tubular looper system that guarantees fuss-free, quick threading. Extra-strong loopers in a quality similar to that used in industry make your babylock enlighten fit for more difficult tasks.

Auxiliary Looper / Converter

The enlighten’s auxiliary looper / converter can be easily activated for a two-thread stitch. Since it is firmly connected to the upper looper, it can’t get lost or misplaced.

New Jet-Air System

The ingenious jet-air threading system makes threading your enlighten child’s play. From now on, you are the one who defines the threading order. You no longer need to follow any coloured threading points or start again from the beginning because of a threading error. Forget about loose threads that may cause tangles and confusion. Simply choose the desired looper thread, insert it into the threading port, push the button and the yarn will be threaded up to the tip of the enlighten’s looper as if by magic. Never Worry About thread Tension Again 

Thanks to the automatic thread delivery system of your babylock enlighten. Simply choose a stitch, set the thread delivery system correspondingly and start sewing. No more tiresome tension adjustment every time you use another fabric, stitch or thread thickness. Simply set the automatic thread delivery system to the desired stitch. Your baby lock enlighten will produce exact stitches. There are three sensors: stitch width sensor, stitch length sensor and fabric thickness sensor that help you produce perfectly balanced stitches – with no ifs and buts!

Adjustment Possibilities 

Your baby lock enlighten lets you adjust the stitch width quickly and easily. You can deactivate the cutter quickly and easily with a switch if you want to sew closed or tube-like pieces of clothing. The same switch reactivates the cutter whenever you need it. The cutter does not is not fully retracted and you can use it as a guide.

Setting The Wave Stitch

Your baby lock enlighten can, of course, produce all known overlock stitches. But apart from this conventional range of stitches, this overlocker can also conjure up the unique wave stitch. You can choose from four different wave stitch variants to enhance your sewing project. Differential Feed

Stretch fabrics often cause problems such as puckering or distorted seams that leave you in despair. Thanks to its differential feed, the enlighten guarantees an optimum feed of stretch fabrics and thus prevents puckering or protruding seams. You can also use the enlighten’s differential feed to produce fanciful gathering or stretching effects.

Handy Built-in Accessory Compartment 

No more tiresome searching for the correct enlighten accessory. The handy accessory compartment under the thread spool holder on the right side of the machine contains all important tools. The accessories it can hold include:

• Needles
• Spare needle screws
• Spare cutters
• Screw driver for needle screws
• Soft brush with guide to insert the needles

Stitch Length 

One and the same dial lets you modify the stitch length and change over the enlighten to the rolled hem option. Simply read the setting value on the dial’s scale.

Stitch Width 

Since both the enlighten’s cutter and the chaining finger move together, it really is the stitch width that changes and not just the cutting width, as with other conventional machines. This prevents overcutting and undercutting.
