And it goes without saying that you can define the threading order yourself!

No need to laboriously follow any threading points. Forget about loose threads and all the associated tangle and frustration. The Ovation naturally features baby lock’s fully automated jet-air system to thread the loopers too. Just place the thread in the desired looper port, push the button and hey presto, the looper is threaded completely and automatically. If you like, you can also thread all three loopers at once.

Thanks to the automatic thread delivery (ATD) system and the stitch selector, you no longer have to worry about thread tension adjustment.

All your stitches will now look perfect, no matter which sewing thread quality you use, from an ultrafine through to a strong thread. The presser foot pressure can also be adjusted separately and adapted to your needs. Only a baby lock offers the exclusive wave stitch that is an absolute eye catcher. Say goodbye to frustrating unwanted puckering or wavy seams with knitwear or very fine fabrics. The adjustable differential feed (0.6 – 2.0:1) gives all stitches a perfect look. What’s more, the Ovation even copes with large sewing projects without any problems. The wide throat provides plenty of space to move large amounts of material during sewing. The baby lock Ovation’s six LED lamps light up your workspace perfectly so that you can still see your sewing project when it gets late if you simply can’t stop.

Affordable Easy Operation 

A presser foot lever fitted at the front is another new feature offered by the baby lock Ovation. You can raise the presser foot of your baby lock Ovation simply from the front, no need to fumble around at the rear of your machine and can keep your eyes on your sewing project.

New Presser Foot Pressure Dial

The new presser foot pressure dial of the babylock Ovation allows you to handle all kinds of material or fabric individually. Regardless of whether your fabrics are fine, firm or heavy – the presser foot pressure is easily adjusted to the respective requirements. Thanks to the easy-read scale, you can precisely find the basic setting and adjust the controller for lighter and heavier materials.

Wider Throat Space

Unique Loopers

Auxiliary Looper / Converter 

The Ovation’s auxiliary looper / converter can be easily activated for a two-thread stitch. Since it is firmly connected to the upper looper, it can’t get lost or misplaced.

Ingenious Jet-Air system 

The ingenious jet-air threading system makes threading your Ovation child’s play. From now on, you are the one who defines the threading order. You no longer need to follow any coloured threading points or start again from the beginning because of a threading error. Forget about loose threads that may cause tangles and confusion. Simply choose the desired looper thread, insert it into the threading port, push the button and the yarn will be threaded up to the tip of the Ovation’s looper as if by magic. Adjustment Possibilities 

Your baby lock Ovation lets you adjust the stitch width quickly and easily. You can deactivate the cutter quickly and easily with a switch if you want to sew closed or tube-like pieces of clothing. The same switch reactivates the cutter whenever you need it. The cutter does not is not fully retracted and you can use it as a guide.

Setting The Wave Stitch 

Apart from simple overlock and cover stitches, the baby lock Ovation also offers the fascinating baby lock wave stitch. Simply set the selector lever to wave, thread the machine and let your Ovation perform magic: it will produce a wave stitch instead of the conventional overlock stitch on your sewing project. You can also combine the wave stitch with cover stitches if you like. You will be amazed by your sewing projects’ new, fascinating look.

Differential Feed

Stretch fabrics often cause problems such as puckering or distorted seams that leave you in despair. Thanks to its differential feed, the Ovation guarantees an optimum feed of stretch fabrics and thus prevents puckering or protruding seams. You can also use the Ovation’s differential feed to produce fanciful gathering or stretching effects.

Handy Built-in Accessory Compartment

No more tiresome searching for the correct Ovation accessory. The handy accessory compartment under the thread spool holder contains all important tools. The accessories it can hold include:

• Spare cutters
• Screw driver for needle screws
• Soft brush with guide to insert the needles

Stitch Length

One and the same dial lets you modify the stitch length and change over the Ovation to the rolled hem option. Simply read the setting value on the dial’s scale.

Stitch Width

Since both the Ovation’s cutter and the chaining finger move together, it really is the stitch width that changes and not just the cutting width, as with other conventional machines. This prevents overcutting and undercutting.
