Colour Touch Panel

Check settings and sewing conditions numerically and graphically. The various settings can be specified intuitively. Choosing a specific type of pattern just became easier.

Beauty and ease of use of a straight stitch sewing machine

The straight stitch throat plate, feed dogs and presser foot can be replaced in one easy step. Curves and single lap stiching cleanly sewn from the begining of the seam.

Bobbin thread counter

The amount of bobbin thread used is counted based on the stich length and number of stiches sewn. Running out of bobbin thread can be prevented since you will be warned when 20% of thread remains.

JUKI Smart Feed

Engage the JUKI Smart Feed dual feed function to move the top layer of your fabric in sync with the lower layer. Perfect for Points, precision and quilt layers. Adjust the feed amount in 0.2 mm steps for beautiful stitching without worried of shifting layered fabrics.

Thread tension setting optimized for the pattern

The thread tension most suitable for the pattern and stitch length can be set. Sew beautiful seams without shrinkage even when sewing fine or dense stitching.

Electronic feed dog control mechanism

Raise and lower the feed dogs from the touch panel. When the presser foot is raised, the feed dogs is lowered. Fabrics can be smoothly removed without damage. In addition to allowing switching to free motion sewing without removing the table.

Throat plate with guide

An angle scale is provided in addition to a fine guide scale.Sewing at an accurate position from the fabric edge as well as piecing are both made easier.

Electronic knee lifting control mechanism

Raise the presser foot with a light knee operation.

Foot controller with independent foot switch

With a foot controller that empha- sizes stepping comfort, the needle can be stopped at the precise location of your choice. The foot controller also features excellent responsiveness for sewing a single stitch.

JUKI’s box feed industrial sewing machine technology

The box feed technology, utilised in industrial sewing machines, reliably feeds all types of fabric.It also creates perfectly straight stitching with a uniform pitch. Since the feed dogs remains horizontal during operation, Feed dog stay in con- tact with the fabric longer for reliable feeding without bunched stitching.

Presser Foot Pivot Function

When you stop sewing, the needle stops in the down position and presser foot auto- matically lifts to allow for fabric movement. Sew corners or pivot with ease, when you resume sewing the presser foot automatically lowers for continuous smooth sewing.

Stitch adjustment/needle position dials

Unfortunately the machine was on back order with Janome but both Sasha and Steve communicated this to me and as soon as it arrived with them they called me up so that I could go to view the machine. It was a 60 mile journey to Kings Lynn for me however it really was worth it instead of taking a chance ordering a machine online that I hadn’t even seen. Sasha was helpful demonstrating and gave me confidence to go forward with the purchase. She spent time with me ensuring I had covered anything I was unsure about, lovely, lovely young lady. Rita could not have been more patient, spending as much time as I needed to demo the embroidery machine I was interested in. Though there are videos on you tube etc,  nothing beats being able to see it for yourself and ask questions. Given that these are not cheap machines, it’s definitely worth a trip. Without any sales pressure I was pleased to order the machine, which arrived 2 days later. I haven’t had to avail myself of the offer of a half hour lesson, but it’s there if I need it, and they service and repair too. I highly recommend a visit - you won’t be disappointed.

I had done a lot of online research for the particular machine I was interested in but wanted to see the machine in person before ordering, made contact with Sasha and arranged for a demonstration, she ran me through the workings of the machine so I could place my order with confidence. Nothing was too much trouble when accommodating delivery arrangements to fit in with my holiday dates. I feel confident should I need any help in future I will be able to contact staff without worry. A friend loaned me her Toyota overlocker which after trial and error I managed to get working, however, not with the cones of thread supplied.  Steve diagnosed the need for 4 small cones for the thread to sit on and within 10 minutes, I was on my way, stocked up with sewing machine supplies and an overlocker free of its naughtiness. And did I mention the 10 minutes included a quick peek at potential future machine purchases?  What a selection!  Thoroughly recommend.    I will be back!
