The BERNINA 700E PRO is an embroidery only machine, and that is the point of it. If you already have a sewing machine you love and have no intention of replacing it, this adds serious embroidery capability without asking you to give anything up.
It also means your sewing machine stays threaded and set up while a design runs, which anyone who has swapped a machine back and forth between jobs will appreciate immediately.

A large working area for a machine of this size, and enough for borders, panels and repeated motifs without splitting a design.
Three hoops included
Small at 72 by 50mm, medium at 130 by 100mm and large oval at 255 by 145mm, with templates, so you are ready for most jobs from the day it arrives.
1,000 stitches a minute
Quick for embroidery, which matters a great deal when a dense design would otherwise run for hours.
Front loading jumbo bobbin
Holds considerably more thread than a standard bobbin, and it can be changed without taking the hoop off, which saves an enormous amount of irritation mid design.
7 inch colour touch screen
Centrally placed and large enough to see the design properly before you commit thread to fabric.
