The B05 Academy is a heavy duty mechanical machine built for speed and durability. It sews at up to 1100 stitches per minute, making light work of everyday projects while still handling thicker fabrics like denim with ease. A speed limiter is built in too, so you can slow things right down for fiddly or detailed work.
You get 30 built in stitches to cover pretty much everything, including a one step buttonhole, the ever popular Lycra stitch for stretch fabrics, and a blanket stitch for finishing edges and appliqué. Adjustable presser foot pressure keeps your fabric feeding evenly whether you are working with something delicate or several layers of heavier material, and the retractable feed dog makes free motion sewing and darning simple.
Practical touches make this machine easy to live with day to day. Two LED sewing lights keep your work area well lit, the automatic needle threader saves you squinting at the needle eye, and a built in thread cutter speeds things along. It comes with 12 presser feet for different techniques plus a slide on extension table for extra support with bigger projects.
